On Hallmark, it actually is Christmas in July. Every year, too, not just when the TV writers go on strike.

Christmas in July is a real thing on Hallmark, which will have Christmas movies every day/night in July, and almost every day/night, now, for the rest of the year. It drives my elderly mom crazy, and she complains from July on that, by the time Christmas comes around, "you're sick of it." It truly is hard to fathom how many Christmas movies Hallmark must have.

Hallmark keeps Dean Cain employed. “Gainfully” is in the eye of the beholder.

Stores already have Halloween crap out, and Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner.

    It's still freaking July. C'mon.

Wife has severe arachnophobia and always delegates others to handle any Halloween merchandise with spiders in her store.

Stores always work a season ahead. People who wanted summer decorations already would have bought them. So it's on to fall.

Walked into the paper one day in August and saw a Christmas tree in advertising. So I asked an ad rep why, and she said it was a reminder that businesses were making their holiday spending decisions then.

Reading a deal could be finalized as early as tomorrow. Will be really happy if this is over. And I hope the studios give a fair deal after all of this
