Yep. Sprained ankle, I’m guessing. Totally needless move too. But it looked cool to jump off the ramp at full speed.

Finally, we get Cole and Roddy reunited ...

    ... in adjacent hospital beds.

Huge WWE news. Smackdown will jump from Fox to NBC in October 2024, and Raw and NXT will leave USA. The story doesn't give an explanation for why the latter two are moving or where they might wind up. I assume it's because they're splitting up the two packages and NBC Universal opted for Smackdown?
Maybe somebody's planning on resurrecting TNN.

And so it begins. The axe has started in WWE. Per Sean Ross Sapp, and counting...

    Dolph Ziggler
Mustafa Ali (so much for that NXT NA title match)
    Elias
    Riddick Moss
Emma (hours after she comments on her excitement of there being an Australian PPV)
    Shelton Benjamin
    Rick Boogs
    Aaliyah

As I understand it, Raw and NXT could stay with USA, or could move, but the deal is different than Smackdown and hasnt been negotiated yet

ive seen it suggested that FOX let Smackdown go on Friday nights to make way for a new college football package with the expanded Big 10.

On the bright side, Ezekiel and Emmalina are still employed.

In all seriousness, Ziggler had about an 18-year run with the company and should be in the WWE HOF some day.

Ali finally gets his wish a couple of years later. It’s too bad the E never let him get to his full potential.

I wish they would have given Shelton a longer tag title run and a longer run with the Hurt Business. It seems so long ago, but the Hurt Business basically helped a lot people’s sanity during the pandemic.

It’s a shame that Boogs got hurt at his one WM moment,

Hope everyone can land on their feet.

If he wants to continue wrestling and not just focus on his comedy/acting, I can see Ziggler joining his brother in AEW, if only for a smaller role like John Morrison is doing with QTV.

What sucks for Ali is he had asked for his release when he was doing nothing, and now he's in a pretty prime spot with an active storyline in NXT and he gets the axe. He could be one who works his trade with the lesser feds, indies and/or Japan and gets another shot down the road.

Emma could be a good fit as a veteran in AEW with her NXT classmate Saraya, but I think the rest have peaked and won't be doing more than odd jobs here and there.

There may have been some potential for more with Elias that was never fulfilled, but we'll always have the heel promo that may have been one of the most vilified by the arena crowd in WWE history.

    Dana Brooke
    Mansoor
    Mace
    Shanky
    Dabba Kato (Commander Azeez)
