One thing you can do in California is transfer a property within family and you can keep the tax rate. We just passed Prop. 19 which clarified the law to allow people displaced by disaster to do the same and forces people who transfer property to actually live at the property (no more keeping an inherited house where you don't live for at least some of the time).

Don't be a dick. She was what, 22, held down a high powered job in the White House, then showed a lot of guts and testified. She had seen firsthand how he treated people who crossed him and put herself out there anyway.

Sure, she's on a book tour. Go listen to her on Rachel or with Nicole Wallace. She is unsparing of her former self's affiliations and very direct about her opinion that Trump is utterly unqualified to be in the White House. She's not a hero, but she *was* a standup guy in front of the 1/6 committee.
