Sounds like he is interested in two things and two things only: making you afraid of it and telling you who's to blame for it. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you win elections. You gather a group of middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income voters who remember with longing an easier time, and you talk to them about family and American values and character.

 

Which of course is the whole point of this dog and pony show. There is absolutely no merit to it, but let's keep it going into 2024 and maybe a minnow or two will pop on the hook.

 

There was an argument to be made that the first trump impeachment wasn't a good move, politically. I think it was the right thing to do, regardless. (In retrospect, I don't think it moved the needle one way or the other).

But there was credible evidence presented on the Ukraine shakedown. The phone call was damning, proving what trump was trying to do. There was fucking EVIDENCE.

These trumplicans are not serious people.
