There’s always another conspiracy to placate the base.

 

The point isn’t to prove wrongdoing, it is to sow distrust about a Dem. It worked with Hillary and they tried to run the same playbook with Biden. First with Ukraine — the ask was merely the announcement of an investigation into Biden, not the investigation itself. Now, it’s all of bunch of stuff about “the Biden Crime Family” the point of which is to make some sort of both sides do it argument re: Trump.

 

They’re gonna discover that their performance art can’t accomplish much if the fedruhl guvmint is shut down.

 

Here’s the best part: we’re going to get some period of “inquiry,” which will show the exact same “no evidence” Turley testified to, and this committee will still eventually vote to recommend impeachment.

 

Don’t forget to remind him he’s about to go without a paycheck for God knows how long.

 

Logic is not the strong suit of MAGA world.....however the both sides do it is particularly stupid. So what? Joe DiMaggio and Rob Deer both struck out in their career. They equally bad?

He's well-positioned to run against and beat Trump. Biden rarely provides any particular consequence to democracy if Trump wins - other than, it'll be over - but he doesn't have to; he's presenting an good/evil binary choice.

The line of rhetoric would not work well against, say, Haley. Or DeSantis. But the bet is GOP voters wouldn't elevate them above Trump.
