Out this way there is a chain called Grocery Outlet, don't know if they are national - but its a fun place because they sell pretty much nothing but close-outs and overruns, you can find beers you can't get from in-state distributors. And the prices are below market too.

You just blew the mind of anyone involved in beer sales in Massachusetts. You described 3 major violations of state law.

    And who wants old beer?

I’ll take anyone’s old beer for hot dog and brat baths.

I looked at their website. Closest one to me is actually in Las Vegas. Pretty heavily Californian and West Coast but a few inland outposts in Nevada and Idaho.

Don’t touch Anchor Steam but I’m stoked for this.

Great! Now we need someone in Michigan to bring back Stroh's and fire-brew it. Build a new brewery in part of the Packard factory remnants.

It's contract-brewed now, not the same. Just as the new contract-brewed Henry's isn't the Henry's of old.

Coor's Banquet catches a lot of grief from the beer snobs, but the company has remained true to the brand. It's not outsourced, still only brewed at the mothership in Golden.

I like an ice cold Coor Banquet. Mmmm

Also love a cold Miller High Life. When in college, my snooty friends sneered at Miller, PBR and Old Milwaukee, which was fine because they didn’t steal mine from the fridge or cooler.

That's exactly why I drank National Boh. And I too loved MHL in the clear bottles.

MHL is great but my gut expands with every swig.
