Yeah, I drive past a CVS and Walgreens twice a day. You can walk into either and get about whatever you need.

Although, I got lucky yesterday. I walked pretty much in. By the time the pharmacist got my shot ready, 9 geriatrics piled in behind me to get various shots.
I looked at them and said, "Y'all on a bus or something?"

Kaiser here in the Bay is just walk in. … When they’re not on strike, of course.

Took me 40m to check in (get to the front of the line of people also picking up their meds), once that happened I was done in about 20 minutes. Waiting in a line with a bunch of seniors talking about their various ailments for more than 30 minutes is not fun.

I have Kaiser here and couldn't get a nearby appointment (no walk-in) for COVID booster until Oct. 24. I walked in on Tuesday for a flu shot and was in and out in five minutes. Good thing since the strike started yesterday.

Made an online appointment about 10 days in advance at a CVS about a half-hour drive from my house. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

A couple of weeks ago, I was casually going up and down the aisles at Costco. When I get near the pharmacy, one of their employees approached and asked if I wanted a flu shot. Five minutes of paperwork, the stick, and done. They did not have the Pfizer boosters or I would have gotten that, too. A couple of days of minor arm soreness.

Costco is doling out jabs like free samples of cheese or prosciutto?
