But I’d Clemson and FSU leave, so does UNC. And probably N.C. State and at least one of the Virginias. And the ACC already wiped out its credibility with Cal, Furd and Smoo.

 

Where are they going to go? A 22-team SEC, so the good teams like Alabama and Georgia play each other once every 10 years?

The thing I have to remember is that for a generation or two of people, it was like Colorado dropped out of the sky and didn't exist before Coach Prime. Not sure taking the ball is a bad call, but it sure makes it easy for the other team if you don't score. And if you do and the other team ties, they get the option to pay defense first in the second OT.
