Iowa leaning on its defense in a battle of backup quarterbacks and backward offense.

Oregon’s OC looks like he’s still in high school.

If he has bruised ribs, he didn't show it on those last two throws. Goodness, what a wild one in Seattle. And still lots of time for the Ducks.

Great catch by Odunze, too. But yeah, plenty of time for Nix and the Ducks.

    “Brian, you’re fired.”

    “Dad, we went 11-1.”

“Brian, this is the hardest thing I’ve had to do since I had you repeat kindergarten for the fourth time.”

4th and 3 from your own 47. In that spot, you can’t go for it. No way. Not in that spot.

I’m saying this as a Universally of Iowa graduate: the Hawkeyes could finish 11-1 (before losing 52-3 in the B1G championship) and they still wouldn’t be one of the top 25 FBS teams. Top 25 defense? Sure. But the offense might not score 35 points the rest of the season.

Aggressiveness does indeed help win football games. Know what helps much more? Points! Oregon coach left six easy ones off the board to prove, I dunno, that he doesn't need Nugenix.

Iowa won a Big Whatever game on the road with less than 250 yards of total offense and 9 first downs.
