And then Davidson just crushes the monologue. He's great. Treads so delicately that line of tragedy and comedy and usually blurs it. Like with his dead ex-girlfriend, apparently.

I've noticed no Sarah Sherman yet. Wonder if she's taking personal time over what's happening in Israel.

May just be a personal opinion, but Bowen Yang still doesn't pique my interest. Just incredibly one-note, with all his characters being some variation of the "token gay guy." At least when Kate McKinnon was on, her performances were versatile enough that she wasn't just playing off her orientation.

 

And there's Taylor Swift outta nowhere.
