    Absolutely.

Both OSU and Mizzou went with the fierce animal in an oval logo a while back.

Yet the cartoon beaver and tiger look SO much better.

Why do you need a tent for that? Memphis already has a Liberty Bowl.

Do they have to wait for a strong thunderstorm to get a complete flush?

Duke's defensive line caving in NCSU immediately at the start of virtually every snap. Also helps with managing an offense without Riley Leonard at QB. His backup, Belin, completed four passes and threw an interception. Yet, Duke won - easily.

NCSU needs some O-line upgrades and a better offensive scheme. Have yet to see what Dave Doreen saw in Robert Anae. If any of you wish to fill me in, I'm all ears. Because if his scheme is good, then there is a serious personnel issue in Raleigh.

Had $10 left in this week's gambling budget, so I threw it down on San Diego State -6 at Hawaii. Figured it'd be some fun late-night entertainment.
After seeing the Aztecs waste a dominant start and a 17-0 lead, I'm starting to think I should've just gone to bed.

Sorry for the delay. Traveled to the other side of the state today for the solar eclipse.

Yup, should not have run with less than five minutes left at the offended team's choice, in this case Arkansas, as long as it is tied or trailing. Will dig up the exact rule in the morning.

Yes, in high school (except last two minutes of each half). College has a fourth quarter five-minute rule.

    Division II update.

Colorado Mesa 62, Fort Lewis 14.

Still, it was a ridiculously gorgeous day in Durango as I passed through on my way back from northwest New Mexico -- and throughout the San Juans -- today.

Seeing Hawaii score on the last play of the third quarter made me wonder ... Has there ever been a college or NFL game in which all four quarters began with kickoffs?

This Montana-Idaho game has been bonkers.
And the Idaho helmets are the best

Idaho mounts a great fourth quarter comeback, pulling within 23-21 on a TD pass with 1:47 left.

The Vandals call an unbelievably stupid trick play on the 2-point conversion, then recover the onside kick … but are penalized for being offsides.

Montana recovers the rekick, still up two points.
