    Which team would have home field in the WS between the Phils, Astros and Rangers? Each had 90 wins.

    Well, NL won the All-Star Game. :)

    Phillies were 0-3 vs. Texas, 2-1 vs. Houston in regular season.

    Being on the Left Coast, I didn't see the Phillies that much, but I don't remember them hitting like this.

    Even a Dave Dombrowski-constructed postseason bullpen shouldn't be able to blow this lead.

    If we get Rangers-Phillies in the World Series, it will be the first time that the teams who play each other in the World Series also played each other in their first game of the season.

    Nice stat but small sample size since it's the first year all teams played each other. Which is why the AL/NL split needs to go away and redo divisions by geography. Or go straight West/East "leagues."

    If you're resigned to losing to the extent that you pull Corbin Carroll, why would you be going to the bullpen with two out in the bottom of the eighth?
