    I know it, but he has his share of stinkers, too, including a rough stretch in early September. There is a reason he had a 4.46 ERA in the regular season.

    To some degree, but I think some are more prone to huge slumps than others. The Phillies have enough streaky hitters that the swings from tearing it up to not hitting at all can be jarring and sudden.

    I think it has only happened 3 times: 1975, 1970, 1969. In other words, never in the best of 7 era.

    I think the closest we've come was 2014 and 2022 when the AL went 4-0 and NL went 4-1.

    That was a spectacular catch by Taveras. Coming on the heels of Jung's homer, feels like the Rangers are figuring out a way to steal this one.
