How dare you think that the Hall of Fame would ever welcome a drunk racist.

I don’t know enough about those guys, but I suspect it would mean the least to Buck.

Kruk and Kuip need to go in together. Yes, I know the only time two broadcasters have gone in in the same class are Allen and Barber. But they're that joined at the hip.

Gary Cohen is a no-brainer here, but older than he looks (65) and is, knock on wood, in good health and still at the very top of his game. Other than Shulman, everyone else is battling health issues and/or considerably older (or no longer with us, in the case of Johnson Sr.) so my guess is that's going to sway the electorate towards one of those candidates.

I grew up in Atlanta watching and listening to Braves games from the ‘60s through the ‘80s, and Ernie Johnson was never a good play by play or color announcer, IMHO. Milo Hamilton (who I think already won the Frick Award) was the great one. Skip and Pete were really good, too. But Ernie? Nah.

I know Cohen's been nominated at least once, and I think a few times. I'm definitely biased, but he should win it at some point for sure. Best of the best.

Zero doubt he wins it at some point.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan, I can’t imagine listening to Joe Castilgione give an induction speech. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but he has the charisma of spoiled milk.
