NFL Week 8 -- Primetime blues

I feel like Buffalo won't need more than 13 points to win this one.

 

1. How did the Bucs' punter not just get thrown out of the game?

2. Josh Allen in the blue tent and Kyle Allen warming up? Ruh-roh, Reorge.

 

I knew the Bucs would score if they kept on trying.

 

Baker Mayfield seems like the kind of QB who people would LOVE if he was an undrafted FA who managed to land a starting job - but he was a number 1 overall pick and you think, I don't know - we should try and find someone better. But I do think he can last another 10-years as a stop-gap QB. One of those guys who has talent enough to keep whatever team he's on from having a high enough pick to draft a better option.

 

The Bucs have Kyle Trask on the bench and seem perfectly content leaving him there, so Baker should get a full 17 games worth of film to go search for his next one year contract.

 

Last year's miracle run notwithstanding, it's hard to fathom the Jints being this bad for this long.

 

Consider the era from 1964 to 1980.
