Is it me, or is Jeter a whole helluva lot better than Ortiz or ARod at this broadcasting thing?

 

Gawd no, he's awful. A-Rod, for better and mostly worse, is made for TV. Ortiz is fine, he's sort of the Charles Barkley of that group. But Jeter, with absolutely zero charisma in any sort of public setting, is just there b/c he's bored at home.

 

I heard him ask a “Why are you so awesome” question and turned the channel.

 

They all suck. As mentioned, Jeter has no charisma, ARod can make good points but he’s a pompous phony and Ortiz is a buffoon who never makes a good point. All he does is laugh at mostly stupid stuff.

 

The radio calls of Garcia’s homer were historically bad.

 

I like DeRosa in the AM, Leiter makes good points, and Pedro is funny.

 

I'm unsettled by the commercials of Derek the Family Man putting in the miles to see his girls. I don't why. Maybe it's still Minka Kelly.

 

That's the biggest pile of shit commercial in history. Derek Jeter? Driving thru the night? Driving in barren areas where there are deer everywhere? He's closer to a billionaire than a millionaire. He ain't driving shit.
