    My uncle went into the Army in 1933 when he was underage because there were too many mouths to feed at home. If he was 17, he was barely 17. He retired an Air Force major in '63. I don't think the military does that kind of thing anymore.

    I survived another week at work - complete with unorthodox shifts, even by old newsroom standards - then power nap and one freelance game and story, followed by another power nap and another freelance match and story. Can I rest a little now (well, after I watch the alma mater play)?
