    Wow. RIP.

Can’t look for the video right now, but his bit on Friends when he and Phoebe were trying to seduce each other was some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen.

“I’m very happy we’re gonna have all the sex.”

ER’s first season was my senior year of college, and I had just met the future Mrs. S a few months earlier and it became the first show that we would watch religiously together.

I didn’t start watching Friends until its second season, and I watched it for a few years before I got tired of it. I enjoyed Perry’s work on the show. RIP

No more must-see nights on broadcast TV. That was a much different era.

Yeah, I was just thinking along those lines. I don't mind watching/bingeing stuff on my own time. But there is something I miss about that shared experience across the country. The "watercooler" stuff.

It's still there with sports, especially big events. But moments like the MASH finale and Who Shot JR (I was too young to appreciate either of those) are really gone.

You can tell the stage some of us were in the business why which shows we loved and which we didn’t get to see.

I was a Seinfeld/LA Law guy in college. Then my last two years, I was covering prep sports on Thursday forever so I missed the Friends/ER phenomenon…

Working second shift at newspapers cut into TV time, and it’s why most of my relationships were with female co-workers.

He was also Carol’s boyfriend on Growing Pains who died in a drunk driving crash.

Updated story says he played two hours of pickleball, came home, his assistant left to run errands, came back and found him.
