I don't care about ratings, but how telling is it that there was not one comment here during last night's World Series game?

Wrapped up in a tidy 2:51, which is impressive (BYH: absurd!!) for a game with 10 pitchers used.

Then again, the Mazeroski game used nine pitchers and took 2:36.

Yeah, it used to lead the national news and the local sports newscast (before ESPN for the youngsters).

I enjoyed the game. It was well played, I mean Walker getting thrown out with a throw right on the money, Jung was some very nice plays, and the Seager/Semien DP was so smooth; Thomas plays some nice CF too. Then, the Seager bomb was just crushed.

I want to see star pitchers do their thing. Maybe Evoldi with give us one.

It is hard to get excited about both teams throwing a bullpen game in Game 4 of the World Series. But that doesn't mean I won't watch.

I'm right there with you. Jeez, thinking about a bullpen game in 1975 WS, the 2001 WS or even the 2010 WS would be awful.

Nobody hates the Rangers. If they had lost the ALCS, there might be some hate-watching going on here. (Just watched the Astros doc on PBS.)
