There's a pic in a recent-ish story where she is captured from the side and you can recognize her old profile. It is jarring to see how old she looks, but as noted, time flies for everyone and she's been through some trying times w/the car accident (and apparently a perv of a husband). As Octave noted, let's not ironically fat shame someone in a thread in which Friends was criticized for fat shaming (by me!). She was still one of the most beautiful women on the planet at one point.

If you double cup when you're drinking sizzurp, what are you drinking in a triple cup?

Beats me. Sometimes I'll have three cups in my car, and I'll put one inside the other and walk around until I can find a place to dispose of one or more of them.

Can't find much detail on Fonda's injuries from the car crash. Some stories say only "cuts and bruises," while others mention fractured vertebrae before adding, "but she's expected to make a full recovery."

Big Bridget Fonda fan here. I even saw "Point of No Return" in the theater on my first trip to South Florida during a rainy day. Gabriel Byrne is great in it btw.

    And her in Jackie Brown.......

There was similar debate about Kelly McGillis when the new Top Gun came out and she wasn't in it. She aged like most of us and not as Hollywood would prefer.

I think I saw some comments by McGillis in which she said she had been offered some kind of one-scene cameo in "Maverick," but they wanted her to lose 25 pounds or something (not 100) and she just said, "ehhh, I'm old, I'm fat, fuck it."

Kelly McGillis looks like a happy MeeMaw.

Bridget Fonda probably looks Murfreesboro or Topeka attractive with her makeup and hair done. If she's going through heavy weather and dealing with physical stuff, she needs to be cut some slack. I don't know of many celebrities who are knee-weakeningly pretty without a visit from their hair and MUAs.

Frex = For example. And shhhhh! The Cools might come after me for talking too much!

Speaking of Va-va-voomish screen goddesses getting older... And that is NOT a Texas accent I recognize.

Lord, how I regret the loss of Miss Molly.

Much respect to those who experienced fame and then decided they were done with show biz and/or maintaining any sort of pretense over who they are now and how they look in their middle age and beyond. Grace Slick quit performing (outside of an occasional cameo) b/c she thinks old people on stage look foolish. She just turned 84 this week and seems quite content painting and sporting long gray hair. The about page on website ends thusly: Grace Slick lives by the ocean in Malibu and paints.

(I'm gonna be crushed if someone comes here and tells me China Slick Kantner is wearing a mumu, working from home and wondering where her Tab is)

Also enjoyed Point of No Return. And upon doing the Wiki dive, I remembered she was great in Single White Female...and recalled one scene in particular great googly moogly.

Kathleen Turner could get it in War of the Roses, 80s hair and all.
