My point being, it’s kind of a Christian thing. (I know Catholics who have the program.)

It operates under the assumption that porn (or I suppose unhealthy computer use) is an addiction like anything else, and cannot easily be managed 24/7 by an individual.

It also operates under the assumption that porn is bad for you. Not everybody thinks that. Not every Christian thinks that.

there’s plenty to object to with Johnson, starting with election claims. I just don’t personally think this is part of of the problem.

Trump is much more “confused about things” than Biden ever has been.

 

I question how well it is doing for a lot of people.

 

He might have. He’d join millions and millions of American men if so. Or he might have been trying to keep his son accountable by letting his son know what he’s not looked at.

Our church has a group for men that in theory is for philanderers or folks who have had affairs. My understanding is it’s a couple guys like that and the rest are porn addicts.

 

I mean, they did let it get this far, after all...

 

The Democratic Party is doing a piss-poor job of messaging about pretty much everything. They are all over the place on Israel and Gaza. Tlaib's rhetoric isn't helping there. What are they going to do? Vote for Trump? Stay home? That also helps Trump. It is either an empty threat or a stupid decision to help a candidate who will make things worse for them.

They aren't doing a good enough job selling the public on the economy and other things going well during the Biden administration, in part because the party isn't unified. It's time to knock that crap off and spend the next year focused on keeping the White House.

 

Newsom has repeatedly said he won't run against Biden or Harris, which is foolish. He is a better candidate than either of them and he would likely be at least as good a president.

 

Democrats don't have the advantage of just being able to say, "we have a plan which we'll release in two weeks" and "as soon as we're in office we'll solve that in 24 hours," without ever being called to the carpet.

 

Hopefully this goes better than with their last celebrity client.

The Democratic party is divided over Israel because of very different but equally sincere beliefs among its members, as often happens on a big issue where all possible policy options really suck in one way or another. It's the cost of maintaining a diverse coalition.

 

Agreed. Of course, Trump does have the advantage of being able to lie and have millions of idiots thoughtlessly lap up every word.
