I'm not a progressive. But a lot of Democrats - especially younger ones - have become ardently progressive. Increasingly, the Democratic Party is not longer the Big Tent, it's the Long List of grievances and purity tests a politician must pass to be seen as a "true" Democrat. It ought to scare the hell out of centrists.

The polling indicates that many in the Democratic base are critical of Biden because they feel he has done enough to recognize the grievances of the Palestinians. How can anyone who feels that way vote for Trump?
