With teammates likely to finish second and third in AL and NL MVP voting, there are (at least) two teams that have had the top three finishers in voting in a single season. Name them.

I’ll guess Giants, with some combination of Mays, McCovey and Cepeda and Yankees (Maris, Mantle and maybe Yogi, Whitey or Elston Howard?)

No. Yankees were 1, 2, 5, 6 and 10 in 1961 Maris, Mantle, Ford. Luis Arroyo (who?) and Elston Howard. They had two of the top three vote getters from 1960-1964.
I don't see any seasons with the more than 1 of those Giants in the top 3.

Arroyo was the Yankees’ closer, or what passed for one back then, in 1960 and ‘61 before he hurt his arm.

He had a career year in ‘61, frequently relieving Ford. The joke became that Ford and Arroyo were listed as the Yankees’ starting pitcher every four days. Stengel had Ford pitching every five days, but Houk went to a four-man rotation, but used Arroyo frequently.

Back then, starters wanted to go 9, and Ford wasn’t always crazy about being taken out of a game, but it worked.

1998 Yankees. 1988 A's and Reds at some point.

None of those. Big Red Machine went 1, 4, 5 in 1975 with Morgan, Bench and Rose and 1, 3, 4 in 76 with Morgan, Foster and Rose. Schmidt was second.

1975 Red Sox? Lynn, Rice, Fisk.

Who was the only AFL-NFL player selected in two expansion drafts?
