    Echoing my constant rant now on any 3rd/4th-and-2 or less short yardage play -- nobody can run a goddamn fullback or tailback dive play anymore -- QB takes the snap, pivots 90 degrees, hands the ball directly to the running back blasting forward into the hole.
    22 Dive or 32 Dive. The ball is never more than four feet behind the line of scrimmage.
    Now of course, there's no 3-back, he's the motion man 20 yards out on the wing, and instead of a straight handoff, the QB drops 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage to hand off the ball, so if any of your 5 interior linemen don't totally win their blocks -- if any defensive player gets any penetration whatsoever -- the running back has to advance six yards and break several tackles to get back to the line of scrimmage.

    Crazy thing is, a Utah player did the same thing against Oregon about 10 years ago. Except in that case, the defender picked it up and went 100 yards the other way for a touchdown.
