They’ll draw better in Nevada and should bite the bullet.

They play in the Bay Area, it's 1965 Milwaukee Braves West. Only the diehards.

Playing in Hohokam Park in Mesa might be a better solution than Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin. It seats more people and probably has more major league qualities.

Still have the heat, though. And the Diamondbacks.

Just for fun, was looking at a field view of Allegiant Stadium and trying to visualize any way to fit a baseball diamond in there. There are some wonky cutouts right around the 50 yard lines, but even if you could put the plate just about where the goalpost sits, it'd still be only about 180 feet to the foul poles. Or about the same as Fenway.

A’s should include Salt Lake City in the mix.

Actually, split the season between Philadelphia AND Kansas City! Problem solved.

Was thinking you could put home plate in the corner of an end zone, like when the Dodgers played at the Coliseum, but the Coliseum also had the track.

Right. And is slightly bowl shaped. (And has a NASCAR track every spring, for God only knows what reason.)

Just close right field, like we did when we were kids. For lefty batters, have the pitcher throw from the third base coaching box.

College baseball is played at the Vikings' stadium under equally silly circumstances. But yes, it's college baseball.
