    High winds is one thing, but flooding and heavy rain should not cause widespread power outs.

    Looking like we're going to have our snowiest Thanksgiving in 36 years here at 5,280 feet on Thursday. Up to 2 feet at some mountain spots. Only recorded more than 1 inch of snow on Thanksgiving three times in the past 73 years.

    I haven’t seen a double digit snow since the blizzard of 98 when 18 inches dumped on us in a few hours.

    Expecting as much as seven inches of snow in the Wichita area, which is kinda high for a November storm. It'll probably be more like something that starts as rain after midnight Friday night and then becomes snow before sunrise with maybe a total of three inches.
