I'm with you to a t. A fucking half hour break for a game with tons of other time outs? That's a no.

 

I'm in favor of half-hour halftimes of NFL games but only if they feature Up With People.

College's 20-minute halftime doesn't start until both teams have cleared the field. So it's really about 22-24 minutes, depending on where the locker rooms are. College halftimes are longer so the band can play. On site it seems interminable.

 

Asking a coach about “halftime adjustments” is right up there with asking about “senior leadership” in my book of sportswriters’ no-nos.

 

It'll air when we air it and if the old biddies don't like it they can fuck all the way off to Amazing Stories on NBC or The Disney Sunday Movie on ABC! (I had to look these up)

 

Playing in the AFC North should legally require a warning label.
