Max and Red Bull generally annoy me, but his Elvis inspired racing suit and the Red Bull livery are by far the best effort of any team this weekend.

I think Max has generally been a dick about this weekend, so seeing him in the Elvis race suit warmed my heart. I bet he hates it.

Brundle just totally missed Anthony Mackie during his grid walk. ‍♂️

    Probably, hopefully. lol.

I don’t really understand his disdain for the weekend.

Did I see Jeff Bezos walk past him?

It’s weird. It may just be that he hates the added PR demands, and I don’t know that any of them like the late schedule. Plus, the track doesn’t suit his car all that much.

    But damn, Max, lighten up.

The first few laps have been chaotic. I like it.

I've never watched more than a few minutes of F1. Is it normal for the cars to spark that much, or is it just the way the track rises in that one spot that's causing a lot of it? And is that something that'll tear up a car by the end of the race?

It’s common to see them spark, but typically not this late in the race. It’s more common early when they're on full tanks. (It’s far more obvious in the night races, of course.)

The cars have titanium skid plates underneath that are causing the sparks, so it shouldn’t tear up the car. Not fun for the driver to be thumping the ground that often, though.

It's just like stock cars at night when you can see them bottom out going into the turns, and the brakes are cherry red. It's obviously not just a night thing. It's an you only see it at night thing.
