Remember Gus the kicking mule? He's back! But he can't kick!

It's gonna be great when this meaningless Giants win ensures they suck and don't have a franchise QB for the rest of the decade.

Betting the under on Pittsburgh at Cleveland was easy money.

Aren't the Lions supposed to be the ones blowing a two touchdown lead in the last four minutes? This world makes no sense anymore.

Kevin Stefanski handled that last minute terribly.

Maybe that's the true death knell of the SOL: when you get to be a good team, you can play a shit game for 56 minutes and win anyway.

The Lions did handle the final 4 minutes about absolutely perfectly.

Nowhere near as bad as the first minute (or whenever the non-challenged non-safety was).

    The Panthers are ruined.

It will be years before they recover from the draft trade.

Apparently nobody on the Bears staff knew that on the free kick following the safety, they had to place kick (or drop kick) to be able to recover the onside. Once they elected to punt on the free kick, legally they could not have recovered the ball (except theoretically if the Lions muffled or fumbled the catch, or tried to return the kick and fumbled during the return).

Also it seemed curious that Aidan Hutchinson didn't draw a dead ball penalty for punting the ball into the stands following the safety.
