If the power of hope from relative strangers has any positive affect -- and who knows, it might -- you have lots of support here, CD.

Looks like I’ll have to become a Harvard fan instead.

Boogie, we’re all rooting for you here. I’m sorry for the latest setback. Lean on your family. Lean on your friends, both here and in the real world. May every moment of light, no matter how small, shine through your current darkness.

I'm sure it seems like it, but you're not alone.

Remember that in the darkest times. Remember it all the time -- every second, if you have to.

Update: Got admitted to a clinical trial at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. They did a tumor profile and I have a so-called notch mutation; supposedly a drug in this clinical trial can target the mutation in my tumors so they self-immolate.

Trial starts in december and ill have to go to boston for six days in december to get these pills and be under observation and testing — which will be in addition to the regular cancer drugs im already taking — but after that will only be once a month.

No guarantee this works, but the doctor says in addition to this there are other options in the pipeline, so it’s all around encouraging. Told him: just keep me alive till you can fix me lol.

Possibility they can fix my eye too, but less certain.

Ill take what i can :)

Congrats on getting admitted to the trial. I doubt I’d be of much help, but I work down the street and know the area a bit. I understand D-F has good patient support services, so you’re in good hands.

You’re certainly going to one of the best places in the country. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.

Glad to hear this news. My Mom was at Dana Farber in the late stages of her cancer battle and the doctors, nurses and staff could not have been kinder or more patient even as we all knew there was little they could do in her case. You're in good hands and with much more positive sounding possibilities. Sending you & yours good thoughts.

I'm reading you've found the right medicine, the right people, the right hope. Good to go with all I can offer. You are loved.
