Geo. Stylish, sporty, economical. That's Geo.

In the midish '90s, I had a sky blue, two door, three cylinder, no radio or AC hatchback Geo.

Premium gas is a thing. Without it, the car would ping and knock, but with it it would run like a top at 80 mph while turning 4,000 rpm. Drove that fucker into the ground (which meant about 35k miles), then traded it in on a Saturn that had a radio, AC, cruise control and a sun roof. It's like I got redneck rich in one fell swoop. Cathy and Mike came with me to get the Saturn, and later after I'd dropped Cathy off at work, Mike confirmed that the Jesus Bar worked when I took a fairly sharp curve a little faster than he expected.

That's my Alice's Restaurant for this Thanksgiving day.

Lions now 0-for-5 on fourth down today. One disastrous fake punt deep in their own territory, a missed red zone try after they'd boxed themselves into a scoreboard corner, and a couple of no man's land "might as wells" and not a single conversion.

That lineup of games for Fox on Sunday is absolutely miserable.

The Turkey leg should be given by a retired lineman from each team.

That's twice the Lions had the chance to make a statement, and the second time they laid a big ol' turd. Baltimore, and now this.

Was Goff hurt? Because he really looked horrendous at times.

Campbell has to catch some of the heat, too. The incessant fourth down gambles are great, if they work. Not so much when they don't.
The fake punt was idiotic in pretty much every way.

I wish I had a dollar for every time someone said to a relative today "I thought you said the Lions were good this year?"

The fake punt was dumb, but you could justify most of the other ones today. Two were fourth and 4 around the 35-40 yard line, where a field goal is not a given and the distance is manageable. The last one they kind of had to because a field goal didn't do them any good.

The fake punt was pretty much suicidal.
