Too much for one night I guess but if its Seth/Punk right away I almost wish they did the cash in so that Priest can move on to Orton or Cody

Punk doesnt need a title feud and I think it would be better vs Seth without it

Work or shoot… rumor has it Drew was none too pleased as well. Hopefully Drew beats Seth for the title (at Rumble?) perhaps due to Punk interference, setting up Punk-Rollins at Wrestlemania.

I’m curious to hear the reaction for Punk in a city not named Chicago.

    Drews a good one too.

    Here’s the ? …. Is CM Punk a babyface or a heel?

if hes a face, Drews a great opponent. If he’s a heel, then its gotta be Seth or Cody.

Assuming hes on Raw. Because Punk/Roman is absolutely money too

Drew went to the back, slammed a locker room door, put on a hoody and stormed out of the building.

Looks like there might have only been two people in the building who knew about Punk.

I'm remaining optimistic about what this will bring WWE. There are A LOT more checks and balances than there are at AEW, which should (hopefully) prevent all the junk from "Brawl Out" and "Brawl In."

I can't see Monday opening with anything other than a Punk promo. Probably won't be as free and improvised as what he would get in AEW, but still a big one.

Unless Punk really has gone off the deep end, I’d imagine he knows that he’s a luxury that the E doesn’t need, and that if things work out right, a lot of money is there to be made.

There’s a lot of intriguing storylines. Seth for the title. Drew for respect. Cody for an AEW callback. Judgment Day (imagine him and Rhea squaring off on the mic). The Bloodline, with Heyman caught in between his Tribal Chief and his Paul Heyman Guy.

As long as things don't disintegrate over the next two months, is this the next potential pipe dream?

I won't lie. It would be great to suddenly hear "Let's light it up..." play. Her hubby's back on the payroll in good graces, and she's got ties to Roxanne Perez and Bayley as a mentor of sorts (like the famous interaction with AJ and Lita).

Have Cody and Punk ever had a proper feud? It's been so long that I can't remember if they crossed paths in WWE the first time around, and then they were on different tracks in AEW and I don't think ever worked together.

Handful of matches together and against (never in AEW), and nothing steady in WWE the first time. Cody always seemed to be on the second or third tier when Punk was at the top.

I do remember this pretty notable photo.
