NFL Week 12 -- I Wish Turkey Only Cost A Nickel

Let me introduce you to the Carolina Panthers ...

 

We have seen A LOT of bad football this year. And yet November will end with only three teams with fewer than four wins. You've got to really try to really suck these days.

 

Then, given those parameters, that's one area in which the Carolina Panthers try well. Guess we need to get David Tepper involved so that they can suck at that, too.

 

Yeah, that's still not good. I get that it's a kid, but that's still not good. At Central, they went to the "action C" logo in the mid-1990s and do not use any Native imagery or mascots, which is why they still have the approval with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe to call themselves "Chippewas." And yet, every couple years someone shows up to the Homecoming game with a macaroni breastplate (actually happened when I was in school) and that starts the debate again.

 

Tell me again, fellow SJ dot commers, why NASCAR (or any other sanctioning body) should fold its tent in August. I will laugh at you. I will make fun of you.

I will hold you up for public ridicule on Twitter.

 

Once again the college national championship will be exiled to Monday night because who could possibly compete with the Browns-Bengals getting flexed to prime time?
