You are working yourself into a tizzy over a non-eventuality. He will not win, because of math and stuff.

That's what everybody said in 2015.

Ultimately, who decides if an order issued by the POTUS is lawful or unlawful?

    The Supreme Court.

    Who owns the Supreme Court?

The electoral math is very different from 2015.

Trump's campaign is as fake as everything else he peddles.

Biden won the popular vote by 7 MILLION --- and it took five days for the election to be called.

He's not winning by 7 million in 2024. And not counting California, he may lose the popular vote among the other 49.

How many votes either candidate gets next November is beyond guessing now. But the ONLY reason it took all that time to count votes in 2020 was the incredible rise in absentee votes due to the pandemic and the decision by various Republican state legislatures, notably Pennsylvania's, not to allow those votes to be preprocessed (NOT counted, another thing) before the polls closed. Otherwise, the winner would have been obvious by early in the morning after Election Day.

It’s still stunning (and depressing as hell) that we almost had a violent overthrow of Congress due to Trump’s complete inability to understand the process you just described.

Don't remember specific details, but there was one published in a porno magazine taken with a big-ass lens while she appeared to be on a beach somewhere.
Cannot remember the book (maybe Kitty Kelley?) but the shot was referred to as "the million dollar bush."

Oh, he understood just fine. The actions of those legislatures were in accordance with his wishes. It was the fallback plan all along.

Lots of people have used that tactic, but Trump has used it literally hundreds of times by this point, it's his go-to defense. In most of those, he delays and drags things out because he knows he can afford to pay lawyers indefinitely and the person suing him cannot. I'm certain that there are some people who are not guilty and simply want to get things over with. More than that, it is well known that Trump learned mob lawyer tactics at Roy Cohn's knee. He taught Trump to deny, delay, appeal, and to settle without an admission of guilt and to never admit anything. It's not Cohn's fault that Trump is constitutionally unable to keep his big flappy mouth shut.

Among all the things you can criticize Trump for -- and goodness knows the list is a long one -- the "delay! appeal!" criticism is right up there with "fat!" and "doesn't wear a necktie properly!" on the silliness meter.

You mean he can keep finding stupid lawyers who think some day he might actually pay them.
