For the 2024 playoff, the title game is on Monday, Jan. 20, after the NFL divisional round. We're just drained of football by then. Push it to Thursday the 23rd and give it some space.

Three early games on campuses on Saturday will be going against the NFL. They'll probably need to push the schedule back and start a week earlier to avoid that going forward.

If that’s the case, they need to start the first round sooner, like the lower NCAA divisions do. Get the opening round and quarterfinals played before Christmas, semifinals on or near New Year’s Day, then the championship a week later.

The one CFB game I watched all year Deion and his son both gave up.

Syracuse ran a neat little version of the single wing against Georgia Tech and damn near won with it.

Deion may have won a couple games by strategy, and certainly he understands the transient/mercenary aspects of today's college sports, but what he's doing has nothing fuck-all whatsoever to do with "sportsmanship" -- in fact, it slaughters the very concept.

It's possible the NFL shoves off those Saturday dates. The CFP will do quite well against 4-8 Titans vs. 5-7 Colts

Show the man some respect. He took a mediocre program that went 1-8 in conference and turned it into a mediocre program that went 1-8 in conference but with rappers on the sidelines.
