An issue, as I see it, is the classified documents case against trump is the best, most slam-dunk of all of them. It’s pretty clear-fucking-cut.

BUT, it is absolutely the one case the judge will not allow to go to trial until after the election. And if trump wins, it never goes to trial.

I hope that scenario never materializes.

I know there’s never been a comparable situation, but a defendant going to trial before a judge who gave her the job absolutely fucking stinks.

No. Nimrata has at times expressed objections to Fatfuck's methods and actions, plus she has expressed interest in running herself.

The only function for Fatfuck's VP choice is to slavishly, subserviently and utterly unconditionally fulfill any and all of his whims without hesitation or reservation. No one who has ever exhibited a microgram of disagreement or independence from Fatfuck or any personal ambitions of their own would be tolerated.

He learned his lesson with the nematode Pence.

Ironic that the Koch Brothers were all-in in Pence as VP until they weren't.

Anyone watching a Newsom-DeSantis debate live should promptly be evaluated for a concussion.

it bears mentioning that the late Sheldon Adelson gave Rump Roast $100 million each in 2016 and 2020. There's nobody around like that this time. Not that his pretend campaign deserves legitimizing.

Why didn't Nixon's voters die off so McGovern could waltz to the presidency?
    Or Reagan's? Or Bush41's? Or Bush43's? Or Trump's in 2016?

Because the number and percentage of 65+ people is GROWING in this country and will continue to grow until the last Boomers turn 65 . . . in 2029.

Philip Bump’s new book tackled this question. While white Boomers are more likely to be Trump voters, they are not as reliably Trump voters as the Silent Generation was in 2016. And because it is such a massive cohort, margins matter. If Biden is even close with Boomers, his advantage with educated suburban voters, minorities and women voters who are younger give him a leg up. The questions to ask for 2024 are: How much of a margin among white Boomers does Trump have at this poikt and how much of the minority vote can he slice off at the margins from Biden? Trump is clearly making inroads comparatively to his 2020 showing, if you trust the polling, in those communities. But is it enough?

Boomers’ death rate was higher than the census bureau had forecasted pre-pandemic for obvious reasons. The Boomers took the lionshare of deaths from Covid-19. 2024 will be the first election where we’ll see how much that matters. Slice off a percentage point from Trump’s base in the right states and that’s enough to tip an election.

(The book also had some great research into the myth of people getting more conservative as they age. The data showed it to largely be a myth. Largely, like musical tastes, your partisanship is formed in early adulthood — not childhood— and remains the same. The Boomers, especially those born 1960-1964, were shaped by Reaganism in the early 1980s. The Millennials, another very large cohort, will likely take Obamaism into old age, with the Zoomers tracking further to the right from early data and the rise of Trump in their formative years.)
