A possible preview of 2028, as Newsom hinted? Gavin unleashed as the "attack dog" for 2024?

Trump is making a list of possible replacements for O’Connor on the court for 2025.

I had the same thought. Morphed quickly into this ...

I guess the third one is Hannity? That's him on the left, basking in their aura.

It was also before 12.7% combined inflation for 2021 and 2022. It was also before Hunter (yes, it matters to some people). It was also when Biden was a little less of a fossil.

It's not so much about voters flipping. It's about voters staying home.

Are 81.2 million energized to vote for Biden again? I'm not seeing it.

Hunter Biden doesn't matter to anybody who isn't part of the Trumpist cult. Those people voted for Trump last time, anyway.

They are both four years older, and Trump is the one who is woefully out of shape. That said, it is one major complaint about Biden that is legitimate.

Inflation will be a factor, though people with a clue will realize that Trump set us on that path.

There are things that have changed on both sides, but there's a lot of time left in this race before we see what most Americans will really decide to care about when they vote.

Newsom is throwing away his shot in terms of what makes him appealing to many.
The presidency has changed parties with each newly-elected POTUS - with the exception of Reagan-Bush - since the 1960s. Let's say Biden wins, we haven't had back-to-back Democrats that didn't involve a death since before the Civil War. If a Republican is elected in '28 and possibly re-elected in '32, Newsom is pushing 70 by '36.
