    All that debate did was make me wish Newsom was running. He should be, and this is a missed opportunity for the Democratic party as far as I'm concerned.

    Over 100 of them only care about keeping another Republican in that seat. That they could probably manipulate all of his votes any way they wanted given that all he cared about was keeping the seat was a bonus.
