I think Washington's DC had Auburn's DC on speed dial during the timeout following the UW TD that made it 34-24.

"Yeah, we only rushed two guys so you rushing three should be safe. Nothing bad happens when you give a QB all day to throw because of that extra guy in the secondary."

We've talked about it for months. It's disgraceful and horrible. It's greedy and selfish.

F-you Carol Folt for starting this train running. And the remaining clueless university presidents who are alleged leaders and know what the hell they are doing.

And I want to hear zero whining and bitching that's coming with "student-athletes" and "travel demand."

And Greg Sankey doesn't get a pass either. Nor do Fox and ESPN.

    F them all.

    It was a great conference.

    Was.

So with Oregon State and Washington State carrying the PAC banner. They do the scheduling deal with MWC (6 games) + 5 P4 and +1 FCS...do they effectively operate like independents? Can they individually make deals for bowl bids like BYU did when they were independent. I would assume that if they finish in the top 12 they would be considered for a playoff spot, but the whole thing is a little confusing. Do they play each other for the 2 Pac title?

I predict within about 10 years some of the larger TV draws will gravitate, there will be some more conference shuffles, and there will be a B1G PAC division, consisting pretty much of the "classic" PAC-8.

I enjoy seeing my FB feed remarkable free of Duck mentions tonight. Not even mentions of conspiracy theories, blaming the refs and whatnot.

I've run the numbers using the most up-to-date betting lines (which take into account FSU's QB problems), and it's roughly 2-1 against a "no chaos" situation (i.e., there's slightly less than a 33% chance that Michigan, Georgia and Florida State will all win). Michigan's such a prohibitive favorite I'm not even considering it's losing, though. I do not envy those trying to sort through slots 3 (and maybe 4) if they're picking from one-loss candidates, which would/could be:

If only Florida State loses: Florida State, Ohio State, Texas*
If only Georgia loses: Alabama*, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas*
If BOTH lose: Alabama*, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas*

    *Conference champ

Committee got half its wishlist granted last night.
They needed UW to win and they need Louisville to win tonight.

I love hearing the SEC groveling.

Sankey said “we all play each other “, well actually they don’t. They have East and West divisions. Plus they have the weakest non conference schedules.
