Yeah I don't know why but he's doing some MLB-level shilling.

The Committee can blame Auburn for fucking up that 4th-and-31 last weekend.

Florida State travels well and buys tickets well. The committee is absolutely not rooting for Loseville, which is ready for basketball season.

University-6 is not terribly enthused about basketball season, I wouldn't think. Needed a miracle to beat New Mexico State, a near miracle to beat UMBC and some degree of fortune to beat Bellarmine.
I suspect the committee is rooting for University-6 because it would rather avoid the choice associated with a FSU win.

I think Bama needs a Louisville win or bust.

But I just want to take a minute and savor this. I can’t express how amazed I am that even Saban could coach up this band of head cases on offense and pull out an SEC title and an upset of No. 1. My God they looked dead in September.

If this team doesn’t get a chance to play for anything else meaningful, I have gotten a lot of satisfaction in watching it persevere and grow. An SEC championship is never something to dismiss as a trifle, and Bama now has 30 of them, including the one from the last year of college football as we somewhat recognize it. That means something to me.

I don’t know if it’s possible but Bama-Ohio State could be fun

Dixie, I think Bama is in — and thanks to their win, so is Texas. Assuming Michigan wins, there could be three undefeated conference champions and only two spots.

I think you're asking for Iowa to beat Michigan.

Has anyone ever thought FSU must be pretty fucking good to keep winning big games with their 2nd and possibly their 3rd-string QB?

If it were next year, I think they’d jump Bama ahead of an undefeated team for a bye. But all or nothing stakes, I don’t think they have the balls for it.

That's what the committee should do. If you hook 50 head coaches or NFL personnel experts up to polygraphs and ask them who's better between FSU and Alabama, ≥ 40 would say Alabama.
The question is what the panel values more: excellence or the unofficial dictate that a 13-0 Power 5 team must be chosen.
