Doesn't the No. 1 team get to pick its locale? If Michigan is No. 1 and if it has that choice, it (ie the Big Ten) will select the Sunset over the San Gabriel Mountains.

ok, tell me what makes FSU more deserving than Texas of the third slot.

Better yet, tell me which of those teams Michigan would select to play if it could.

    Michigan will pick Pasadena, IMO.

Come on. The zero isn't the only thing they are counting. You aren't giving Florida State nearly enough credit. Tate Rodemaker's concussion left them with a third-stringer at quarterback tonight, a freshman who had only attempted four passes all season. Rodemaker should be back for the playoff if the Seminoles are there.

You mean the same Michigan that barely scratched out 25 points against Iowa and barely escaped against mighty Maryland?

    as in losses.

Michigan obviously would want Florida State. And as noted in a seconded post, from a TV standpoint, you want Michigan-FSU and Washington-Texas.

Irrelevant to the question. They’ll inherit the No. 1 seed. Which of those two teams do you think they’d rather face?

    Then why isn’t Liberty in?

Teams 6-8 might have a hard time scoring 14 points against that defense. Louisville scored 402 points in 12 games before tonight.

An unbeaten Florida State entered as No. 4, won its conference title and is still might get screwed and I don't even care for Florida State.

They might not be one of the four best, but the committee deemed them so just last week.

That's one reason I hate the CFP even releasing any ratings before the final one. Just let everyone be surprised Sunday.

Actually, I wish for the days Michigan-Washington in the Rose Bowl would probably determine the national champ BUT Florida State would have still have a chance to claim their share in the Orange or Sugar.

Never ever happen but it wasn't so terrible back then.

Stop. Because it doesn't play a Power 5 schedule.

By your delusional reasoning, unbeaten Colorado School of Mines should be in.

They don't play in a Power Five conference. I know you are bitter about the possibility of your guys getting left out, but come on. Florida State's resume is better than Alabama's.
