It's not going to get worse because after this year this situation won't happen again. Florida State will get in, just as a diminished seed.

We'll be arguing which of these two-loss teams -- Oregon, Missouri, Penn State, Mississippi, Oklahoma -- gets left out.

You end with 0 or 1 loss and you will be included

Larger conferences, more skips, less chance of playing all of the good teams in your conference, fewer great OOC intersectional matchups.

With a 12-team playoff, none of those two-loss teams you mentioned gets left out this year and SMU or Liberty get in too.

Florida is its own category apart from the South (I will now accept your “bless your hearts” and “oh, childs”)

Tennessee back in the Citrus Bowl. Somewhere, Steve Spurrier just cracked a smile.

One of them would be based on the final rankings -- the top 12 doesn't include SMU or Liberty in it. To put one of them in means taking one of those five out for the top G5. Oklahoma would have been out and Liberty as the 12-seed.

So the arguement would have been, which two-seed doesn't get in over the others. The committee would have determined Oklahoma of this group. And I'm not saying thet woyld be wrong, but that's where the argument lien would be

Higher than expected --- or probably deserved. But I guess they didn't want to send LSU there two years in a row. Vols haven't even been good enough for the Citrus other than last year for more than a decade.

    I don't expect a 45-28 repeat of their 2015 matchup.

Ha. FSU would have had an easier playoff game.

How many of Georgia's players are going to opt out, since their entire roster is comprised of NFL-ready players? (Ok, only being a little snarky. I know they have a ton of next-level talent).
