Anyone else think its odd there hasn't been a movie depiction of Hillary Clinton's 2016 run for President? Not a doc. Not even a TV movie. You would figure at least something like "The Queen" with Helen Mirren, or something juicier. Not even something on Trump. Stone had that movie on W - (which was actually good AND sympathetic at the same time). There was the movie about Obama and Michelle's courtship. Primary Colors with Travolta about Bill Clinton's run - sure she lost - but that would make it even more interesting.Right?

With Trump, I'm guessing you need to know how the story plays out. Michael Moore hasn't even put together a slide show since Trump was elected.

 

Meh. They tried to steer the cult to DeSantis, but he turned out to be an unlikeable asshole and terrible at campaigning. Fox Angertainment will try to do the same with Nikki Haley for a bit.

In the end, they’ll go all-in on trump again and pick up all his campaign and PR work. And never come close to reporting anything true.

I remember that very innocent time where Fox stood by Megyn Kelly when Trump brought up that she might be on the rag. Business as normal two days later.

First, Moore had a movie. Fahrenheit 11/9. It tanked at the box office. It was decent too. But Michael Moore just doesn’t have a profile like that any longer. Neither does Oliver stone.

So, no, I’m not. That’s just not where art is right now. Not a ton of political songs either.

art in general in America hasn’t been this unplugged in a very long time.

 

At the same time bleating about how Putin is great. His leadership is strong. And his poison tastes good.

 

Look you can be skeptical all you want, but at least its better than Fox News slobbering all over him at all times. I despise Fox News for what they have given birth to in our country, but small tiny steps are better than tiny steps in the opposite direction and can lead to bigger steps.
