Alabama losing to Utah as well, but an Oregon loss to Liberty with the worst SOS in the NCAA? Whew.

That was half the point of going to 12.

What is the over/under on how long Prime is at Colorado? Another season and a half? He leaves with his kid?

You can prohibit polls and rankings until
Week 4 or 6 or whatever you want, but whenever you set the date to begin issuing rankings, the tied teams will be largely sorted out by reputation.

Is there evidence of a team getting left out because "they started too low in the polls"?

The two memorable screw jobs (TCU, FSU) involved teams that had elevated into playoff position --- only to be dropped back at the last minute.

I still say TCU is the worst screwing.
    They beat Iowa State 55-3.
Not 16-6 or anything like that.
55-3. And dropped them…..not one spot, but two spots. From 3-5,

If I'm a pollster, I'm putting Bama and Georgia in the top five next year because - they've delivered for the past five years. And you can say the same for Michigan and Ohio State. Consistently. With different players. Those programs aren't "paper tigers." I still say though - that the quality of their opponents is a little uninspiring. Bont in non-conference and conference play.

    Maybe they should have beaten them . . . 65-7. ;)

As soon as Mike Mcarthy loses in the playoffs and gets fired by Jerry.

Because, of course, what Bama and Georgia have done the past five years means exactly the same this season and the next and the next. With the same players and all. Yes, let's keep doing that.
