So - after a lot of talk radio blather - Eric Bienemy became the play-calling OC in DC. Is there a consensus on how he's doing? The Commanders are in the middle of the pack in team offense, which I find astounding considering their QB. Defense is really the problem there.

The Cowboys can curb-stomp the Beagles and win out the rest of the way.

But I won't trust them until they're in the NFC finals. At least get past THAT hurdle.

Part of me thinks that Rivera is keeping his job for the season because they ownership knows that they would have been stuck with Bienemy if he did well as an interim. I think that they probably have to hire him as HC unless he gets a job somewhere else.

Circling back to the Bills, there really seems to be a locker room problem there. We've all worked places that "worked" and those that were messed up. I don't know if it is an organization thing, , if there are various player "beefs" - bad communication or McDermott has lost the locker room.
It's something you don't read much about even with all the NFL coverage - players beef over their opportunities, sure - but you don't read about organizations that have just gone into a tailspin. We see the results on Sundays of tcourse, but the Raiders were a classic example of there obviously being something off in the locker room. The Bills, the Chargers, seem likely to be others. I guess the Panthers too. Something changed from that team last year.

I don't blame you. The Patriots will be without their leading rusher and top three receivers. The Steelers are missing their quarterback. Those are two offenses that suck even at full strength. I'm just hoping the Steelers realize their mistake from Sunday and show up tonight.

Apparently 2 AFC East coaches have “All gas, no brakes” as part of their motivational speech.

He's a football coach. He doesn't have much of a thought process.

Per that reporting, the TSA was created two months after 9/11.

Apparently, the Steelers thought the game against the Bengals was the end of the season. They didn't show up last week and they didn't show up tonight. The Patriots are historically bad on offense and the Steelers let them fly right down the field for a touchdown.
