Red Zone has some pretty hard rules about when they have to bail out, and one of them is that when there's just one game left, they have sign off and tell you to tune to the network actually airing the game so Red Zone isn't directly competing against a single network game.

Got a feeling the attempts by Reid and Mahomes to walk it back this week are gonna be beauts.

They always make a point to explain that to people as well. Scott Hanson usually starts reminding viewers as soon as the late games all get to the fourth quarter, and says it again several times after that.

NFL Network during the gameday is even funnier. They actively try to get you to order Red Zone by keeping you on the most mundane game/cutting to commercial at crucial points. I totally understand it, but it doesn’t fail to be funny.

I use it as a second screen and the things they’re purposely not showing you for 10 minutes….

Would baby Patrick have said defensive offsides shouldn't have been called had he thrown a pick-6?

    Nope, I haven't.

It was a blatant and egregious offside. Helen Keller could have called it. And the postgame whining and "Let the players play" is bullshit, of course. The players did play. And broke the rules. It's not that difficult.

Not saying he didn’t break the rules, because he did.
I will ask you this question. If your LJ was working that game……Toney comes to his side, points to him or gives the forward on or backward off……is your guy telling him “Give me one back?”

When I worked FB, if the receiver asked, we always answered. We would always prefer that to a penalty call.

Do we know of Toney even looks over the official to see if he’s on? Most times when a receiver lines up, I see him signal to the official if they are supposed to be on or off the ball. The official usually gives them some signal and receivers sometimes make adjustments. Did Toney do that? The replays I’ve seen only show right before the snap and he’s looking at the ball. Did he look the ref’s way when he came to the line?

During our pregame conference, we always tell the coach that if we’re moving them up or back, we won’t get them for not being set. If they’re doing it on their own, that’s different.

I don’t know if Toney did or not.
I tried to look for the whole play…..from huddle break to snap to see if he did and have not found it.
