Glad to see the GetUp talking heads agree it's a penalty, pure and simple.

Also, I'm only watching GetUp because I'm in a hotel room and good heavens Greenberg is insufferable with his full-bore "TV guy!" voice. Does anyone really watch this every day?

The Chiefs' screaming about the penalty was sublimation for screaming at Toney, which would be bad form, but what they really wanted to do.

We coach 10-year-olds to do it, and tell them they will for sure draw a penalty if they don't. ....

Yeah, this playoff race is going to be nuts. Panthers and Pats are eliminated, and the only other real cross-offs are Arizona, Washington, the Giants, Chicago, Tennessee, the Jets, Vegas and the Chargers.

Who the hell knows who comes out of that mess in the AFC? I do know the Texans are going to rue losing to the fucking Panthers and Jets. And if Stroud is out next week, they're in serious trouble.

Somebody has to win the NFC South, but I have no idea which team will get its shit together to get it done. Three teams at 6-7. Bucs have a tough two week coming up, at Green Bay and vs. Jacksonville. Falcons finish with three of four on the road and end in New Orleans. Saints still have to play the Rams and Bucs on the road. I'm guessing 8-9 will win the division. Tampa currently holds the tiebreaker, followed by Atlanta and New Orleans.

Of course. Preventative officiating. But usually, you only see the far wideouts checking. He was one step from the left hashmark. Can't tell if he looked/asked. Only thing I've seen is him looking inside at the ball. I mean, he wasn't even close. Who knows if he was lining up offside earlier, he was warned and by the fourth quarter, it's on him. Plus, it's the NFL. It's professional football, not 15-year-old kids in a freshman game on a Tuesday afternoon.

I know it's after last night's fact, but I've questioned the narrative that the Eagles are destined for greatness for most of the season. That's an imperfect ballclub.

If the front 4-5 don't make a big play, the back 6-7 sre helpless. And this leads the offense to abandon its power running game far too soon, in favor of a spectacular but inconsistent Hurts-led pass attack. They're still a good team, but having to score in the 30s to win is not a formula for playoff success.

I heard there were some reports out there that Toney asked and was told he was lined up properly, then flagged. I'm just wondering who on the Chiefs put that out there.

That’s who I originally thought they were screaming at.

    My guess is Toney.

This assumes Toney isn't a complete airhead dope.

Not quite yet. Their defense can keep them in games. Dolphins, Commanders, Browns, Patriots.
