I wonder how much money one could have made over the years fading certain posters' predictions.

The season is so long now ... I mean, look at how people talked about Denver after that 70-20 loss. Now they've won 6 of 7 and Wilson looks plenty competent. It's clear the Bears are a completely different team with Fields in there, and adding a veteran like Sweat to the defense really helped. I think not having Christian Watson really doomed Green Bay last night. Love is a different player without him. Dobbs looked like a savior for the Vikings for a couple of weeks and now he's getting his best receiver killed and will probably be benched for the rest of the season.

I think Gee's point is salient here. Not sure there's a team in the NFL that has an answer for a fully healthy 49ers team.

I don't see one. Who scares you in the AFC? The Dolphins can put up points in a hurry, but if you can slow down Hill or if he gets hurt, they are nothing special. The Ravens sometimes look like a complete team, but I don't trust Jackson to stay healthy and/or to play well in the playoffs. They really miss Andrews. The Chiefs have problems at tackle and at receiver. The Jags could easily lose their third in a row Sunday and drop into a jumble of teams at 8-6.

I believe this, too. Every other contender has had at least pockets of time in which their dominance can be questioned. The Niners just keep looking good.

The Niners lost 3 straight earlier this year. They had that pocket of time, too.

The Rams were supposed to destroy the Patriots in the 2019 Super Bowl and scored 3 points.

That is why Cosmo was smart to include fully healthy as a qualifier. The 49ers had a rough patch when they were banged up on offense.

There are always going to be upsets like that on occasion. Otherwise, why even play the games?

Still going to assume a Kyle Shanahan Super Bowl collapse until he manages to not do it.

I remember that stretch. They should have won the Cleveland game, as ugly as it was. They managed to face Cincinnati when the Bengals were at full health and played their best game of the year. They probably got Cousins' best game of the year, too, and Purdy was a little shaky in that one. Very interested in this Ravens-Niners game on Christmas night. Should be a great one, and their last real test until the playoffs.

You say Rams-Patriots Super Bowl upset, THAT's what I remember.

Was 2019 an upset? I have no clue, other than I long ago discounted the idea of the Tom Brady Patriots in the Super Bowl as an underdog.

More the notion that the 49ers are going to DESTROY anyone in the Super Bowl so long as they're healthy.

The Rams averaged 33 points a game, 28 in the playoffs. Goff threw for almost 5,000 and Gurley had 1,800 total yards. They were healthy in the Super Bowl.
