Yeah. Didn't the officials screw them late in that loss to the Browns?

Gurley was not healthy, but the core point was that Belichick created a defense that erased McVay's disguises for Goff. Rams defense played great as well, but their offense was rendered invisible.

Gurley was already damaged goods by that point. Off-the-street CJ Anderson had more carries than him in both NFC playoff games. That's why Gurley's "healthy" designation for the Super Bowl was such a farce. A month after the Super Bowl, the Rams announced Gurley had arthritis in his knee, and his career went down the shitter.

There's a difference between "won't have answers for" and "will be destroyed by." We have two pretty good sample sizes of the 49ers dusting their two biggest NFC competitors while healthy. If the Ravens play a complete game, they can certainly hang with if not beat San Fran. I just think everyone else is the AFC has too many questions, especially the Chiefs. That receiver situation is not something that can be fixed. The Dolphins are a Tyreek injury away from being impotent offensively. Buffalo may not even make the playoffs. The Joe Flacco story has been cute but I can't seriously see him leading Cleveland to a Super Bowl.

In the Italian-American off-the-field NFL personnel rankings, DaVito's agent >>>>>>>>>>Big Dom.

    LOL. right.
A knee injury forced him out of the final two weeks of the regular season. They pick CJ Anderson off his couch and he out-carries Gurley in both playoff games.
And Gurley had 10 carries in the Super Bowl.
And the Rams announce Gurley has arthritis in his knee on March 2.

    But he was healthy.

With all the QBs in the college ranks getting extra experience with number of snaps and learning various offenses in the last couple of years - I have to think at least back-up QBs will be better in the next couple of years right?
I was trying to figure out how much, if any, COVID has impacted the QB position in football, resulting in some disastrous draft picks due to lack of data (Trey Lance, Zach Wilson), but perhaps combined with the portal and NIL will help QBs better prepared for the league.
