BTW, back to the discussion about officials calling penalties, DeAndre Hopkins got away with at least one more blatant offensive PI last night (I watched the Mannings, who were flipping between games, so I don't know if there were more). Then a few plays later he had the nerve to bitch to the refs about not throwing a flag on a supposed defensive interference.

I really haven't seen Hopkins all that much before, but I do now that he's with the Titans (whose games we always get here as one of our "home" teams) and I can tell you he gets away with more PI than any receiver I've seen. And they are not borderline fouls.

No. Moody missed a chippy at the horn.

Are you too young to remember that HOF'er Michael Irvin? He took that arm bar move to the HOF.

I was already a sportswriter when Irvin was playing for the Cowboys. But, man, Hopkins doesn't just push people. He grabs them and spins them around.

I must be remembering a different one of their games. They have had an odd mix of terrible luck with injuries and fantastic luck to help them steal a couple of victories.

Probably thinking of the Indy game, when they were on the right end of two ridiculous calls in the late-going.

Tommy Cutlets winning NFC offensive player of the week while throwing for 158 yards and 1 TD certainly is a choice.

The Mannings and their guests had all sorts of fun with the agent all night. What's funny is, when they first saw him they were speculating about who he is. When they started calling him DeVito's agent, I thought that was the gag they had settled on. It wasn't until the next day that I discovered that really was his agent. At one point, Eli said he'd gotten "intel from my boys" that the agent's nickname was "Slimy" and they spent the rest of the night calling him "Slimy" Stellato.

This whole thing is a minstrel show but since its Italians no one cares.

Wow. And to think, I had to miss that for a lecture on deep vein thrombosis instead.
